Digital Fundamentals and PLCs

Students explore the fundamentals of digital logic and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in a complex mechatronic system with a focus on the automation system and programming software. Students examine the role PLCs play within a mechatronic system or subsystem and apply troubleshooting strategies to identify and localize problems.

Students are required to have a laptop for on-campus studies. Please refer to for more detailed information about course availability and scheduling options.

A non-refundable material fee of $50 is included in the course fees. Materials have to be returned to the College if you withdraw from the course.
