As Canada’s population continues to grow more diverse – in terms of race, ethnicity, age, ability, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status – top employers in Canada look for employees who can work well with diverse populations. The Cultural Diversity in Canada program is valuable to professionals like you who work in human resources, business, health services and education. You will learn to hone your cultural sensitivity skills and develop strategies to create inclusive and equitable workplaces.

By exploring the principles of diversity and equity, you will gain valuable knowledge and skills to help your organization become an employer of choice. You will learn the definition of racism and discrimination, explore insights of racial and cultural differences, and understand barriers that impact the recruitment and selection of culturally diverse individuals. You will practice with proven tools and techniques to successfully recruit and select culturally diverse employees to build a diverse and highly talented workforce and an inclusive workplace.

The instructors are renowned diversity experts who have managed and led diversity initiatives in top-level leadership positions and as consultants, in mid- to large-sized organizations.

Depending on your interest, you can enrol in a single course or take all four courses to earn a Cultural Diversity in Canada ROA. The program’s four courses total 126 credit hours and are delivered online and on-campus.
