Upon completion of the Personal Fitness Trainer program, you will be well prepared to pursue the Certified Professional Trainers Network - Certified Personal Trainer (CPTN-CPT) designation.  Certification status requires the completion of both the CPT Theory Exam and Practical Assessment, proof of valid CPR-C and minimum of Emergency First Aid, and a log of 20 hours of practice time in a one-on-one setting.


Tuition includes a 1 year membership to CPTN, material fees and CPTN-CPT Theory Exam fee (requirement for the CPT Distinction). Material fees for HEAL78030 are non-refundable.. Course fee for HEAL78031 CPTN-CPT Practical Assessment is non-refundable.  

Become a Certified Personal Trainer

To earn the distinction of CPTN Certified Personal Trainer (CPTN-CPT) candidates must successfully complete the theory exam during the last week of this course.  In addition, within six months following completion of this course, 20 hours of practice time must be logged and the CPTN-CPT Practical Assessment for Certification (HEAL78031) must also be completed in order to become fully certified.
