The Basics of Negotiating

Course number : SALE78430   ID : 1419    Section Number : N01
« back to classes page
Are you interested in exploring how to apply negotiating techniques and strategies used by professionals to achieve better outcomes in your daily life? Negotiation is a life skill and we all do it on a daily basis. Successful negotiation (personal or corporate) requires a principled approach that is focused on collaboration rather than confrontation.  In this workshop, you will identify different levels of relationships that occur on both an interpersonal and commercial level. You will also apply trust building strategies that manage conflict and allow you to transition away from adversarial positional bargaining to interest based negotiation. By the end of this workshop, you will develop negotiation skills necessary to create agreements that can benefit all parties and maintain lasting interpersonal relationships.
