Are you an employee or manager wanting  to learn more about the structure and function of unions and the key differences between unionized and non-unionized workplaces?  Would you like to advance your understanding of collective bargaining processes and the legal obligations of unions and employers?  In this course, you will learn about union and employer objectives, negotiation strategies, and third-party involvement in labour disputes.  You will discuss the labour relations framework and the labour laws that govern union-employer interactions.  By the end of this course, you will be able to characterize the roles and responsibilities of employees, employers and labour unions and will be better equipped to facilitate positive labour relations in a variety of organizations or unions.
