Whether you’re in the ER, the OR, or in long-term care, the clinical assessment of patients is an ever-growing complex task. Not only do you need to develop, communicate, implement and evaluate a comprehensive plan of care based on accurate clinical assessment principles and techniques, but you need to possess strong critical thinking and assessment skills. These skills will be the core focus of this course to refine and improve your clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.   Throughout the course, you will learn a systematic approach to completing a priorities-based assessment that includes relevant data from the client’s current complaints and history, and laboratory and diagnostic information to identify clinical priorities.
