This course is offered in collaboration with the Afro-Caribbean Business Network and Sheridan’s EDGE Entrepreneurship Hub, with support from the Pilon School of Business. ACBN is a network that unifies and educates African and Caribbean entrepreneurs as they grow successful and sustainable businesses. EDGE is an incubator for purpose-driven ventures and a community of people who believe entrepreneurship can make lasting change in society.

Program Delivery

This course is delivered using a (hybrid model) with skill and community building sessions in person at (Sheridan EDGE), as well as activities you complete at your own pace through self-directed or collaborative peer support.

Program Description

Do you want to develop your ideas and passions into a new business in the cleantech sector? Are you looking for strategies to match innovative solutions with market potential while growing your network?

This course will engage Black founders and aspiring founders in an Afrocentric and non-traditional approach to learning.  You will learn in a space that honours your personal experiences and develops your business networks through reflective and group coaching activities.

In collaboration with industry experts in the cleantech sector, you will learn how to analyze market potential, craft a compelling value proposition and position your business for funding and investment.
