Program Delivery

These are part-time courses and are delivered fully online (asynchronous).

Program Description

These courses aim to help students master basic language skills. Using simple structures and vocabulary, learners will describe personal traits, ask and answer basic questions, and conjugate verbs in the present tense. The courses emphasize both spoken and written communication. Students will use technology to practice and evaluate their speaking skills. Additionally, short texts will highlight aspects of family life and French culture, including customs, activities, and celebrations in Canada and globally.

Recommended Program Pathway

It is recommended that students complete the program in sequential order French 1, French 2, French 3, French 4 followed by French 5.
