Program Description

Building on the foundational skills developed in the Interior Decorating Foundations Micro-Credential, Sheridan’s Interior Decorating: Advanced Concepts Micro-Credential deepens students’ expertise in both the creative and business aspects of interior decorating. Through hands-on projects and practical theory, students refine their design techniques while gaining the tools to operate professionally in the industry.

Courses cover advanced space planning, floor planning, wallpaper and mouldings, sustainability in decor, and more.

By the end of this program, students will be able to:

• Develop a comprehensive business plan and delve into the client consultation process
• Explore materials such as flooring, wallpaper, paint, and more
• Evaluate materials for sustainability needs
