Whether you learned estimating skills on-the-job or want to prepare for a job as a construction estimator, this online program will add up to a better career. You'll learn the roles and responsibilities of an estimator while gaining experience preparing tendering documents, cost plans, bid forms and more. This program prepares you to run a complete project on-site from start to finish. Anyone in the construction industry will benefit from this program.

Upon completion of this program, students will be able to: 

  • Explain the role of the construction estimator 
  • Introduce bidding procedures and bid documents
  • Work in teams to analyze and identify tasks for estimating various projects 
  • Develop pricing and site overhead costs and profits
