Program Description

Sheridan’s Product Management Micro-Credential introduces learners to the dynamic world of product management, equipping them with the essential skills to turn innovative ideas into successful, user-centered products. Through hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios, participants will learn how to collaborate with cross-functional teams, make data-informed decisions, and manage the full product lifecycle—from ideation to launch and iteration. Whether you're exploring new career paths, transitioning from academia or a non-tech background, or aiming to upskill, this course provides practical tools, frameworks, and exposure to industry-standard platforms like the Atlassian Suite and AI-powered tools to help you contribute confidently from day one.

By the end of this program, students will be able to:

• Break down the product development process, from coming up with ideas to launching the product

• Use Agile methods to keep the development work organized and moving smoothly

• Apply decision making tools to evaluate product performance

• Build product roadmaps that include long-term goals, feedback from stakeholders, and what users need
