Amazon Career Choice Program

Amazon believes in providing employees with the resources to help them succeed. To support this, Amazon has partnered with Sheridan to offer employees subsidized programs.

Program Benefits:

• Amazon covers 95% of the program price , up to a maximum of $3000 per calendar year (January 1 to December 31) 
• Students may be responsible for additional fees (e.g. text books, parking, transportation, lockers, additional course fees, and association fees). Please contact your Amazon representative for more details.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Amazon Employee Training is available to all Amazon employees in Canada. 
• Amazon Employees must submit a Payment Request through the Amazon Career Choice School Portal. Payment Requests submitted after the last day to enrol will not be honoured.

HOW TO REGISTER:

PART-TIME Continuing and Professional Studies Programs: 
Registration is now open for:

• Human Resource Management Certificate

1. Submit a Payment Request through the Amazon Career Choice Student Portal
2. After submitting your Payment Request, complete the following Amazon Career Choice Registration Form
3. Create a CAPS account providing all valid information
4. Sheridan will email you to confirm your enrolment and provide further instructions on how to pay 5% of the course price through online banking. This email will come from CAPS Third Party Billing (capsthirdpartybilling@sheridancollege.ca).

Closed/Suspended Programs:

• Home Inspection Training Program Recognition of Achievement
• Building Environmental System Operator Certificate

*** The above listed programs are no longer available to new enrollments through Amazon Career Choice. Associates already enrolled will be supported to complete their studies.

FULL-TIME Programs: 
Registration is now open for:

• Certificate in Human Resource Management 
• Mechanical Techniques – CNC & Precision Machining
• Certificate in Welding Techniques
• Certificate in Electrical Techniques

1. Ensure you meet the admission requirements and apply online through ontariocolleges.ca
2. Pay the application fee and submit your academic documents. Learn how to apply here.
3. Once accepted into the program, submit a Payment Request through the Amazon Career Choice Student Portal
4. Pay a $250 non-refundable deposit through online banking. Instructions are provided below.

Closed/Suspended Programs:

• Diploma in Business Human Resources 
• Advanced Diploma in Business Administration Human Resources  

*** Effective May 2025, the above listed programs will be suspended and not open for registration. Registration remains open for January 2025. Associates already enrolled will be supported to complete their studies.

Online Banking Instructions: 

• In the Bill Payments section, select Sheridan College as the payee. 
• Enter the amount of the courses(s) and use your Student ID Number as the account number.
