This course prepares you for employment and advancement in cardiovascular nursing practice. Students learn how to analyze cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias using one or two lead continuous electrographic monitoring systems. This course is suitable for RNs, RPNs, IENs, and other healthcare providers who have achieved entry-to-practice competencies associated with their professional role regarding the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for clients experiencing cardiovascular health challenges. The passing grade of this course is 70%.
Prerequisite(s): You should be a Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or an Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN), Regulated Healthcare Provider or receive approval to register for this course.
