Whether it's an occasional chair, cornice box or headboard, this course will help demystify the world of upholstery. Topics include fabrics and yardage requirements, furniture application as well as understanding your clients' needs. Gain the knowledge and confidence required to compliment any decor with a piece of newly upholstered furniture.

NOTE: Students will be responsible for bringing in their own piece of furniture, purchasing their own fabric, and taking basic tools to class. As this is an introductory course, please ensure that the furniture brought is small in nature. These items will be required throughout the duration of the course. Basic tools include: Scissors, Measuring Tape, Pliers, and a Stapler. Please email Ron Switchuk at ron.switchuk@sheridancollege.ca for approval of your furniture piece.
