Topics include: source of employment law; whether individuals are employees or independent contractors; discrimination and human rights legislation; employment standards legislation; the duties employees owe to employers; the duties employers owe to employees; formation of the employment contract; the terms that should be in an employment contract; termination of employment; wrongful dismissal; and where employment related information can be found on the Internet.
