Introduction to Networks is the entry point to learn the fundamentals of networking. It covers networking architecture, structure and functions. This course introduces you to the principles and structure of IP addressing and the fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations to provide a foundation for the curriculum.

This is the first of two courses that will prepare you for the Cisco® Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) exam or the first of four that will prepare you for the Cisco® Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching exam.

Note: Students are required to bring their own laptops for the hands-on labs.

Prerequisite(s): You should have a basic awareness of hardware components and the Internet.
