Study theory and contemporary practices of photojournalism and documentary photography as related to visual non-fictional story telling. Research story ideas, apply appropriate equipment and techniques, and maintain high ethical standards. Tune your eye with the work of prominent photojournalists and learn the evolving expectations of the fast-changing world of print and digital media. Note: Bring a DSLR or other digital stills camera that shoots in RAW format.
Prerequisite(s): VDES70029 Photography, Intermediate Digital and a recommended working knowledge of Photoshop
