Public and private sector construction projects need trained and reliable construction estimators, as do engineering firms through to landscapers.  As an estimator, you will prepare estimates for labour, material, general expenses and pre-contract costs.  You may also be asked to select sub-trades and give your opinion on tendering procedures.
