Sheridan is proud to be the authorized and official trainer for the Motion Picture Camera Assistant Workshops developed in collaboration with I.A.T.S.E. Local 667 (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Local Union 667).

The two–week program is geared toward learners familiar with aspects of film and television pre-production, production, or post-production, with a specific interest in the responsibilities and roles of the Camera Assistant.

Course curriculum and evaluation methods for this program are in accordance with the requirements of the joint partnership and are aimed at developing beginner motion picture camera skills.

Graduates from Sheridan's workshops are awarded certificates of completion and, although this does not guarantee a spot in the I.A.T.S.E. Local 667 camera trainee program, many of the recently accepted trainees had completed Sheridan’s workshops.

Please refer to the Program Description tab for more information on admission requirements and how to apply.

These courses are part of the Film and Television - Certification and Professional Training Centers Program.
