ON-CAMPUS AND ONLINE DELIVERY

Launching Fall 2019, our revamped Sheridan Digital Photography Certificate program allows you to better capture your world through the lens of your camera.

Our new curriculum boasts courses in relevant and popular areas of photography, including areas of interest specific to portraiture, weddings, corporate, small event, fashion and family photography. The combination of hands-on experience and techniques gives any up-and-coming photographer the skills they need to translate their skills into real world experience.

From beginners to more enthusiastic shutterbugs, learn how to blend your passion and technical skills into a lucrative and sustainable career. Discover your niche and dedicate yourself to an area of photography that captures you.

To gain your Certificate in Digital Photography, you must complete nine (9) courses – four (4) compulsory and five (5) elective courses. To maximize your experience and to follow the pre-requisites, we recommend the following program path:

  • VDES70006 Basic Digital Photography
  • VDES70029 Intermediate Digital Photography
  • VDES70035 Digital Image Processing (Lightroom & Photoshop)
  • 5 Electives
  • VDES70030 Advanced Digital Photography

It is highly recommeded that your final course in your certificate be VDES70030 Advanced Digital Photography. The program is built for students to develop their fundamental skills in Photography including relevant software and applications, before building into more advanced and exclusive photography skills.

Students can expect instruction in a classroom, photography studio, MAC lab, and more.

Join us and learn how to capture your perspective of the world in a camera click.
