In Person Exams & Tests for Online Students

Please read all information before booking your midterm or final exam slot. Information included below is only applicable to Faculty of Continuing and Professional Studies (Slate) and Ontario Learn students.

To determine whether you have an in-person final exam for your online course, please ask your instructor. If it is determined your course has a midterm or final exam, please book your exam appointment (Sheridan students only) online using the booking system below. Appointments must be booked at least seven business days before the exam date and all exams must be written at the Davis Campus in Brampton – no exceptions.

You will receive a confirmation email about your exam booking immediately after you finalize your reservation.

Final exams will take place in the C- Wing on the 3rd floor, outside of room C304 at the Davis Campus in Brampton.

Guest (Non-Sheridan) Students
All Guests (Non-Sheridan students) who wish to write at Sheridan College will be charged an exam sitting fee of $65 per exam. The fee must be paid in-person to the Office of the Registrar at any Campus prior to your exam date. To secure a midterm or final exam booking, please email to: capsexams@sheridancollege.ca. Please do not use the online booking system.

Students with Accommodations
Slate and Ontario Learn students registered with the Accessible Learning Services (ALS), must e-mail: capsexams@sheridancollege.ca to arrange for an appointment. Please do not book an appointment through mywconline and do not use the online booking system.

Special Requests
If you are unable to attend the available exam times, please e-mail: capsexams@sheridancollege.ca. Only special circumstances (i.e. illness, family emergency) will be accommodated. All other requests will be denied.

Proctored Exams
If you live outside a 100 km radius of a local college, you can arrange to write your final exam under the supervision of a proctor. You would be responsible for identifying a professional to act as the proctor (approved by Sheridan College) and paying for any fees incurred - e.g. proctor fees and/or exam courier fees. If you’re using a proctor, a proctor form must be completed and returned via e-mail to capsexams@sheridancollege.ca. Please note: the proctor form must be requested from the Faculty of Continuing and Professional Studies (FCAPS) at least 10 business days prior to your scheduled exam date.
