Program Delivery

This is a part-time program, and is delivered via online (asynchronous) and virtual (synchronous) classroom.

Canadian Institute of Management and the Certified in Management™ (C.I.M) Designation

The Canadian Institute of Management is a leading professional association in support of Canadian managers through certification, accreditation, and professional development. Within this organization, they offer the Certified in Management (CIM) designation. The C.I.M.™ designation is awarded by the Canadian Institute of Management, a federally chartered educational institute, licensed to award several professional designations.

To be awarded your C.I.M.™ you must complete the required courses, prove you have completed at least two years of recognized Canadian management / administration experience and submit an application with two reference letters and a current résumé.  Note that your application for the C.I.M.™ designation must be submitted within six years of completing the required courses.

Application for Education Credit Requirement

You will need to complete an Application for Education Credit for every course you wish to use towards the CIMA program or C.I.M.™ designation. The Education Credit Transfer fee is $50 plus tax per course. The application fee may be waived if you become a CIM member.
