The Medical Office Clerk Micro-Credential provides job-specific skills and competencies for those seeking healthcare office administrative opportunities as a medical clerk, hospital administrative support or unit clerk. Students learn in-demand and essential skills for health office administrative processes that healthcare managers, professionals and recruiters need for quality operations. Medical terminology and key health office administrative processes, patient information management and confidentiality, scheduling and billing are foundational course learning objectives. Students experience hands-on learning experiences with Accuro QHR provide higher level learning and understanding of patient management software.
